The Davis Story

1905 2026 121 years

In 1905 a handful of Davisville business owners formed the Chamber with one mission, to win the new University Farm.

Seventy other towns wanted it. Davis won. That farm became UC Davis, the engine of a town that now thinks of small business as a way of life.

For more than a century the Chamber has been the room where Davis businesses stand together, get found, and get a voice. The Scholarship Foundation has invested in local students since 1984.

What that means for your business

Why Join

Four ways the Chamber grows your business.

Membership is the most affordable marketing and advocacy a Davis business can buy. Here is exactly what it does for you.

01

Get Found

A listing in the Davis business directory, event spotlights, and referrals that send real customers your way.

02

Get Trusted

The Chamber name signals credibility. Consumers regard members more favorably and choose them first.

03

Get Customers

Mixers, socials, and signature events put you face to face with the people who buy, hire, and refer.

04

Get a Voice

One business is a whisper. Hundreds together are heard at City Hall and across the region.

The proof

Chamber membership measurably moves the needle.

When a business belongs to its chamber of commerce, consumers see it differently and buy from it more often. The research is clear and consistent.
